Central Asia is a region which stretches from the Caspian Sea in the west to China and Mongolia in the east, and from Afghanistan and Iran in the south to Russia in the north. It’s made up of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Kyrgyzstan.

While it’s not as popular as other destinations in the region, more and more travelers have started exploring these countries in recent years.

Some of its most popular attractions are Kyrgyzstan’s “Song Kul”, “The Pamir Highway” in Tajikistan, and the cities of Uzbekistan’s ancient Silk Road.

Our Central Asia Travel Guides provide an overview to the region for those unfamiliar and perhaps new places to visit for returning travelers.
